TRANSLOGISTIC LIMITED   aims to carefully organise the movement of goods and people in a successful and effective manner.

Located in Bishop’s Stortford, just 5 miles west from London Stansted Airport, Translogistic specialises in the provision of ground transport  services, moving people and goods locally and nationwide to and from Stansted Airport, Bishop’s Stortford and surrounding areas. Over 250,000 ground transport movements were handled during 2008.

TRANSLOGISTIC is the principal service provider to a wide range of internationally recognised names.

Stansted Airport is Europe’s fastest growing airport and is the second largest port of entry for visitors to the UK handling 24 million passengers p.a.

Bishop’s Stortford is a prosperous market town where growth brought on by the expansion of Stansted Airport has led to a multi-million pound town centre redevelopment, an influx of new businesses and a substantial growth in housing and population.

Junction 8 of the M11 lies midway between Stansted Airport and Bishop’s Stortford, providing easy access to London, the M25, and all route south as well as all major routes north, east and west.

“The Thames Gateway”, Europe’s largest regeneration initiative and the largest of the UK’s four growth areas, encompasses both Bishop’s Stortford and Stansted Airport.

Stansted Airport and Bishop’s Stortford lie approximately equidistant from London and Cambridge and are therefore situated at the heart of the government planned “ M11 Corridor” which will see new housing and industry being constructed along the entire length of the M11. Cambridge itself has been identified as a “Primary Centre for Growth” with 33,000 new jobs forecast to be created within the next 10 years.

BAA was a “Major Partner” in London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and in its written evidence to the House of Commons in that connection confirmed its £550 million new investment in Stansted Airport to cater for the rapid growth of low cost carriers, this investment being additional to the £2 billion investment which BAA would need to make in connection with the proposed second runway At Stansted.

The 2012 Olympics are to the largest extent being sited in “The East London Gateway” of Stratford and Lower Leas just 20 minutes south of Stansted Airport/Bishop’s Stortford bringing huge commercial opportunities to the area.

THE HUB OF TRANSLOGISTIC'S OPERATIONS IS LOCATED AT THE VERY HEART OF THE UK’S MOST EXCITING GROWTH AREA
